Youth Rodeo

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the ARCADIA YOUTH RODEO ASSOCIATION. We are most anxious to offer this opportunity for our youth to participate in America’s #1 sport. In our society today, we feel it is very crucial to guide our young people in a positive direction. The Arcadia Youth Rodeo Association is dedicated to helping its youth set goals and work to achieve them through a sport they truly enjoy…RODEO!

Want more information on the Youth Rodeo? Access the Rules and Membership Forms by following the links, or follow the Youth Rodeo link on the left of this page.

And, for the younger set, there is a new children's rodeo association that you can learn more about here.

Junior Steer & Bull Riding

Junior Steer & Bull Riding are our newest events for the young rodeo fan. Ages 10 - 12 (steer riding) and ages 13 - 16 (bull riding) compete to see who can ride the steer (or bull) the longest. Each rider is judged and receives points just like the pro bullriders do, except ride time is 6 seconds instead of 8 seconds. The winner receives a shiny new belt buckle and their photo on this webpage.

So if your young cowboy or cowgirl is interested, please call for complete details!

Calf Scramble

Want an opportunity for your children to experience being in the Rodeo arena? Then the calf scramble event is just for you!

Just before intermission this event is announced. No application is necessary. Each calf will be decorated with a bandanna. The winners are those children who "undecorate" the calves. Winners receive a gift certificate and their photo featured on this webpage.

This event is open to children ages 6 through 12. No application is necessary for this event.
