Arcadia is easy to
reach from all directions. Located about an hour
east of Sarasota and Bradenton, or an hour north of
Fort Myers, Arcadia is at the intersection of
several highways.
US Highway 17 runs
north and south through the heart of the city and
within two blocks of the Rodeo
arena.
State Road 70 runs
east and west only a few blocks
away.
State Roads 72 and
31 lead to Arcadia from Sarasota and Fort Myers,
respectively.

is 124 Heard Street (right off of US Highway
17).
Getting here from
Interstate 75 is a snap too! Depending on whether
you're coming from the North or the South, there are
several exits that lead right to
Arcadia.
Tampa/Bradenton/Sarasota -Take I-75
South to exit #217 onto Highway 70 East. It takes
approximately 45 minutes to reach the Arcadia city
limits. Turn right at the first traffic light,
heading south on US Highway 17. Turn left onto Heard
Street, where the rodeo arena is
located.
OR
Take I-75 South to
exit #205 onto Clark Road (aka Highway 72).
It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the
end of Highway 72 in DeSoto County. Turn right onto
US Highway 70 (going east). Turn right at the first
traffic light, heading south on US Highway 17. Turn
left onto Heard Street at the rodeo
arena.
From Port
Charlotte/Punta Gorda - Take I-75 South to exit #164
onto US Highway 17 North. It is approximately 25
miles to Arcadia, where you will take a right onto
Heard Street at the rodeo arena.
From Fort
Myers/Naples - Take I-75 North to exit #141 onto US
Highway 80 heading east; turn left onto Highway 31.
Turn left onto Highway 70 at the end of Highway 31.
Stay on the left side of the fork and turn left onto
Hillsborough Avenue. Continue until you see the
rodeo arena on the right.
From
Orlando/Florida's East Coast - Take I-4 West to
Highway 27. Go south to Avon Park; turn right onto
Highway 64. Go to US Highway 17, turn left
(heading south) to Arcadia. Turn left onto Heard
Street at the rodeo arena.
From Avon
Park/Sebring/Lake Placid/Florida's East Coast -
Take US 27 to Highway 70 W to Arcadia. Stay on the
left side of the fork and turn left onto
Hillsborough Avenue. Continue until you see the
rodeo arena on the right.
OR
Take US 27 to
Highway 64 in Avon Park. Head west to Highway 17. Go
south to Arcadia and take a left onto Heard Street
at the rodeo arena.
