Our History

The Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. You can donate online via credit card. The support we have received from the community has been astounding. We have raised over $6.2 million and counting.

The amount raised has allowed us to secure financing for construction of the arena. We are continuing our capital campaign efforts to lessen the long-term debt which will allow us to give more back to our community.

The Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, Inc. has evolved from its pioneer beginnings to a national sport drawing top athletes from all over the nation. Events held at the Arcadia Rodeo include bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, calf scramble, shootouts, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, barrel racing and bull riding.

Athletes competing for purses and points are aiming for the National Finals held annually in Las Vegas.

The Arcadia Rodeo holds the title of the oldest rodeo in Florida. Its rich heritage dates all the way back to 1928 when the American Legion needed to raise money for a new building and had the idea of hosting a rodeo to make it happen.

The Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo Association is made up of members of the local community. These members volunteer their time and energy to make each of the events enjoyable for all. We want to say thank you to each of these members for their devotion to the Association and the community as a whole.
